What does Planning and Zoning do
The Planning and Zoning Department permits and inspects construction activity in Juab County to protect the life, health, and property of our community. Our department is also responsible for the planning and zoning in Juab County.

Planning Commission
The Juab County Planning Commission meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month except in July and December in the Juab County Commission Chambers located at 160 North Main in Nephi Utah. The meetings begin at 7:00 PM. Any regular item for the agenda must be submitted before 5:00 PM on the Monday preceding the meeting. Agenda Items need to be submitted to the Zoning Administrator in Room 117 of the County Courthouse, 160 North Main Nephi, Utah 84648. Subdivision plats need to be submitted at least 12 days prior to any regular or special meeting.
Current members of the planning commission are Chairman – Shirl Nichols, Vice Chair – Mike Kramer, Members, Laura Leslie Rice, Steven Bunker and Chris Memmott.
