Nephi City and Juab County Justice Court Payment Policy

At the Nephi City and Juab County Justice Court, we strive to make the payment process as straightforward as possible. Please review our payment policy below:

  1. Accepted Forms of Payment:

   – U.S. Currency: We accept U.S. currency for payments made in person. However, please be advised that payments in coin should not exceed $5.00.

   – Credit/Debit Cards: Credit/Debit card payments are accepted only through our online payment portal. We do not accept credit/debit card payments in person. We also do not accept American Express.

   – Cash Payments: Cash payments must be made in person at the court. Please do not send cash via mail, as it will not be accepted and the court is not responsible for lost money.

   – Check or Money Order: Payments by check or money order can be sent via mail or in-person. Please ensure that checks are made payable to the correct court, either the Nephi City or Juab County Justice Court. Include your case number with all mailed payments to ensure proper processing.

  1. Delinquent Accounts:

   – Accounts that remain unpaid for 90 days without court contact or payment arrangements may be forwarded to the Office of State Debt Collection. This action will take place without further notification, so please ensure timely settlement of your obligations or reach out to the court to discuss payment options.

  1. Additional Information:

   – For any questions regarding your payment or to discuss payment arrangements, please contact the court directly during business hours. We are here to help and provide any assistance needed to facilitate the payment process.

By adhering to this policy, you help ensure efficient processing and management of your court-related payments. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
